On the day we went to the Garden Of The Gods, it was another cold and blustery day. We didn't spend much time out of the van but did get out here and there and definitely got a taste of the beauty of the garden.

The enormous dark red Lyons sandstone hogbacks that were once the sandy shores of an ancient sea make up this beautiful garden. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it would be in the nicer weather.
The trail through the garden looks like you could get lost in it and have a wonderful time on a beautiful spring day. The birdlife is said to be awesome here.
These formations are huge and are all a beautiful red tone.
This one appeared to me to be a woman  on the left, leaving her offering to the gods.
Here are Pete, Cindy, Alicia, Kaitlyn and Megan braving the frigid weather to get a closer look at these wonders of nature.
Here I am with all the girls, doing the same.
These formations are called the Two Camels because of their remarkable resemblance to them.
