To The Marginal Way In Ogunquit, Maine
Two of my sisters and I had decided that we wanted to go to the beach for the day. They decided upon Ogunquit, Maine and what a perfect choice it was! The weather cooperated perfectly and we were soon off for a wonderful day!
Well, now we're off on our walk...
This is the Marginal Way, a scenic footpath that took us from the main beach, to Perkin's Cove, about a mile away. It was gorgeous!
What a breathtaking view!
Here are Marie and Lee taking their chances out on the rocks.
.....and Lee and I....we were starting to get a little more brave!
Before I knew it, I was climbing around the rocks like I was in my own backyard!
Yep...it's me again!!
We caught a beautiful view of that sailboat passing through these rocks as we walked....
We also passed the little Ogunquit Lighthouse ...isn't it cute?
The seagulls enjoyed their rocky perches but every time I got ready to take their picture, they turned their backs on me!
First, we decided we'd have lunch. It was a long drive and we were pretty hungry....and those drinks were so refreshing!

Many thanks to Shawna for the use of her beautiful background set!
Marie and I did get a little TOO brave, slipping on the barnacles and into the water, but we had a lot of fun so it was worth it.

Well, we finally arrived in Perkins Cove, where we stopped in all the quaint little shops and later, had dinner. As all good things must come to an end, so it was with our wonderful day together. Tired but content, we opted to take the trolly back to the beach area where our car was parked and head for home. Lee went and got the car while Marie and I went down to the water to check out the beach one last time. Then off we drove, homeward bound. I think we were all asleep before our heads hit our pillows!

Thank you for stopping by!

See you next adventure!
